Terms of Service

You pay. You own. Simple.

These terms govern work engagements with Dmitrii Zatona. By hiring me, you agree to the following.

Payment

Weekly Prepay
All fees are due in advance of each engagement week. No exceptions. Payment confirms the engagement — work begins after payment clears.

Non-Refundable
All payments are final. No refunds, no exceptions.

Methods
ACH, crypto. Details provided during onboarding.

Intellectual Property

You Own Everything
All work product created during the engagement belongs to you upon payment. Code, documentation, designs — it’s yours. No licensing tricks, no retained rights.

Pre-Existing IP
My pre-existing intellectual property (libraries, tools, frameworks) remains mine. If used in your project, you get a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it.

Open Source
Contributions to open-source projects follow their respective licenses.

Confidentiality

Your Information Is Safe
Client information is treated as confidential. No client work is shared publicly without explicit written permission. Ever.

NDA
I don’t provide NDAs. If you require one, send yours — I’ll review it.

Liability

Limited to Fees Paid
Services are provided “as is”. Total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement week in question. No consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.

Termination

Either Party Can Exit
Written notice terminates the engagement. Work in progress will be committed to your repository before termination is final. No refunds.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
